What is Feeding the Roots?

We uncovered Jimmy Santiago Baca’s writings from his time in Arizona State Prison, in the Stanford Archives. We transformed them into a writing workbook designed to help incarcerated individuals confront dehumanization and rediscover their humanity through self expression.
